Stories from the 2015 Azuero Summer!
WE ARE GROWING!
The toxin free message of the Azuero Earth Project has been so well received in other parts of the country and the world that we are changing our name to be able to create a community of all the different people and places we are, and hope to be, serving as we continue to grow. Our logo has changed, and Geoffrey, our Azuero Spider Monkey will always be with us - as a special mascot and dear friend for all activities and initiatives.
Our new name is Perfect Earth Project/Azuero or Proyecto Tierra Perfecta/Azuero

The following stories are just a few of the many we created since January:

BIRDS THAT MOVE ARE HEALTHY BIRDS What are the benefits of mobile caging for birds? Dr. Bruno Borsari, a Fulbright scholar from Winona University offered a series of in-the-field lectures about cages that allow for poultry to move more freely and thus grow much healthier. Read more here.
WILDLIFE DNA BARCODING IN TREE CAVITIES How and where do wildlife nest when no trees are available? This is one of the questions researcher and Villanova University student Bonnie Britt will be trying to answer during the following months in the Azuero peninsula. Read more here.
